In the eastern USA, we are too close to the transmitter in North Carolina for  good reception of VOA Radiogram on 17860 or 15670 kHz.

An example of this was provided by Dave in New Jersey from 21 July 2013, 0230-0300 UTC, 5745 kHz (left) versus his reception at 1930-2000 UTC on 15670 kHz.
