Martin in the Czech Republic decoded VOA Radiogram, program 78, 4 October 2014, 1600-1630 UTC, 17860 kHz, using audio from a Tesla Symfonic 603A receiver from 1950. The receiver uses these tubes: ECH21, EF22, EF22, EBL21, AZ11. The antenna was a modified mini-whip active antenna + unun 50 ohm to 450 ohm.

As we approach autumn in the northern hemisphere, shortwave propagation is changing. The 17860 and 15670 kHz transmissions may become more difficult to hear in Europe.
